Force Gurkha
The Force Gurkha is a compact SUV produced by Indian manufacturer Force Motors. The original and second generation Gurkha are produced as two-door SUVs with options of a removable hard or soft top. Standard equipment includes mechanical differential locks for the front and rear axles, a snorkel that allows it to drive through water 700 mm deep, and a transfer case with low ratios. The Gurkha is popularly known as the "Indian G-Wagon" due to its resemblance to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Force Motors has received an order of 2,978 units of the Gurkha from the Indian Defence Forces. These vehicles will be tailored to meet the diverse operational requirements of both the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force.
